Short: 4ch Ninja Remix Kunitoki The Shogun Author: hkva2@online.no (Helge Kvalheim Uploader: hkva2 online no (Helge Kvalheim) Type: mods/misc Requires: 68k/PPC-Amiga, AHI, all MED/OctaMED libs, latest Hippo/OctaMEDPlayer, OMSS v1.03c Architecture: generic Distribution: Aminet Kunitoki The Shogun @ 2019 By Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe --------------------------------------------------------- Kunitoki The Shogun is an anticlimatix 4-channel, japanese Pop-Rock of sort. The trick that has been used to make this track so good, is to use 2 different violins as if they were some japanese vibrato guitars! Yes, is THAT cool, really! As always the case with all of my Amiga music, it's composed by me - Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe from Bergen City of Norway, using my AmigaOne 500, known as SAM460ex. A PPC AmigaNG running latest AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Update 1 and latest Workbench Enhancer bundle from A-EON Technology. OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c with TheMaestrix AHI tool has been used to compose the Amiga tracks in 16-bit Mix mode, using the 16-bit stereo RIFF WAV Walkabout Music Samples Collection. The tracks are then further recorded with Smoothing using 16-bit Direct-To-Disk-Recording as AIFF, then converted to high-quality MP3 tracks using my registered CodeAudio program, to upload to YouTube. Kunitoki The Shogun is really a very cool track! At least from my perspective. I hope you'll enjoy this track as much as I do. It feels as an anticlimax to the Amiga game - Ninja Remix, as the last Ninja - Armakuni, faces the evil Shogun - Kunitoki in an anticlimatic battle during the end of the game. I'm very proud of the result, and I have to point this out that making my Amiga music for Ninja Remix is NOT an attempt of imitating the original concept, but simply to create my very own, brand NEW Amiga music for this game. The original music will always be out there, in way too many forms. But in the end, I think people will appreciate one's own new music better than always hearing the same original over and over again. And lets be honest. Most of the music you hear today is very different from what was ordinary back in the late 80-ies to mid-90-ies. It's a fact we all have to accept, and as always, life goes own, and so does music. I'm proud to present you this track - Kunitoki The Shogun! My very best yet... Amiga version composed by Helge Kvalheim aka HKvalhe
